One Company for the
Whole Pool

Most pool companies do one half of this list. Route companies clean and test, then hand you a phone number when the pump fails. Repair shops fix the pump and have no idea the filter has been running 9 PSI over baseline for two months. Mako Pool Solutions has done both since 1998, and the reason is not ambition. It is that the two jobs inform each other, and splitting them across two companies is how small problems get expensive.

Start With Weekly Service

For most pools the right entry point is weekly pool service, which starts at $100 a month for a chemicals-only plan on a standard residential pool. Full service adds brushing, vacuuming, basket clearing and debris removal, and is quoted on pool size, water features, and how much the surrounding landscape drops in. Every visit includes a full walk of the equipment pad, which is where the value actually sits: pump prime, filter PSI against its clean baseline, heater status, salt cell condition, and any weeping at the unions.

If the pool has already gone green, green pool recovery is its own job rather than a longer cleaning. Recovery typically runs $300 to $600 with chemicals included, and most pools are swim-ready in three to five days depending on how far they have gone and whether the filtration is keeping up.

Repairs Across the Whole Pad

When something fails we diagnose it ourselves. Pool equipment repair is the general entry point, and the individual services underneath it are there because the failure modes are genuinely different. Pump repair is usually a shaft seal, a capacitor, or bearings that have started to sing. Filter repair is torn cartridges, cracked laterals, and multiport valves that have quietly been bypassing to waste. Heater repair in this water is very often a heat exchanger that has scaled down to a trickle, which is a different conversation from an ignition fault.

We service every major brand: Pentair, Hayward, Jandy, Raypak, Zodiac, Sta-Rite, Polaris, and plenty of equipment older than all of them. Estimates are free, there is no diagnostic fee, and if replacing genuinely beats repairing we will show you the arithmetic rather than just assert it.

Installs and Upgrades

New equipment is where sizing matters most, and it is where the industry cuts the most corners. A pump install should be sized to the plumbing in front of it, not matched to whatever was on the pad before. A filter install that is undersized for the pump gives you high pressure and cleans every three weeks for the life of the filter. A heater install has to account for pool volume and how you actually use the pool, because an undersized heater simply runs constantly and never gets there.

As a Pentair Certified Dealer, qualifying Pentair equipment we install carries a 3-year parts-and-labor warranty. Pool automation ties it together: Pentair IntelliCenter, Hayward OmniLogic, and Jandy iAqualink systems let you set pump speeds, run the heater, and control lights and water features from your phone, which on a variable-speed pump usually pays part of its own way in energy.

Where We Work

Every service on this page is available across our full service area. We keep detail pages for pool service in Scottsdale, Cave Creek, and Carefree, each covering the neighborhoods on those routes and the conditions particular to that part of the valley. The radius is deliberately tight, which is what lets us get to an equipment pad the same week rather than the week after.

Every quote follows a free assessment with no diagnostic fee and no obligation. There is no contract: month-to-month is the standard arrangement. We run Monday through Friday, 7AM to 5PM. Call (623) 388-7069 or open the chat bubble and tell us what the pool is doing.
