1. Who We Are

Mako Pool Solutions ("MAKO," "we," "us," or "our") provides residential and commercial pool maintenance, repair, and recovery services throughout Scottsdale, Cave Creek, Carefree, and surrounding communities.

2. Information We Collect

When you submit a form on our website, request a quote, or contact us, we may collect:

• Name: so we know who we're speaking with
• Phone number: to reach you about your service request
• Email address: for service confirmations and follow-ups
• Street address, city, or ZIP code: to confirm we service your area and schedule visits
• Service details: what you tell us about your pool or the issue you're experiencing

We run no analytics, advertising, or session-recording tools on this website. One third-party feature is loaded, and only on some pages: the chat widget provided by LeadConnector, which appears on our home page. No other page on this site loads anything from a third party.

Because that widget is loaded from LeadConnector's servers, they receive your IP address and the address of the page you are viewing whenever one of those pages loads, whether or not you open the chat. If you do open it, the conversation itself — everything you type, and any name, phone number, or email you provide in it — is sent to LeadConnector and stored there alongside our account.

Two things are collected automatically, and only when you submit a form:

• The page you were on when you submitted it
• UTM parameters, Google Click ID (gclid), and Facebook Click ID (fbclid) if they were in the link you arrived through, so we know which listing or link brought you to us

Both are sent with your form submission and stored alongside it. If you never submit a form and never open the chat, the only records of your visit are the standard server logs our host keeps to serve the site, plus the request the chat widget makes to LeadConnector if you visited one of the pages that loads it.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide to:

• Respond to your service requests and provide quotes
• Schedule and perform pool service at your property
• Follow up on completed work or open estimates
• Send appointment reminders and service updates
• Improve our website and advertising effectiveness

We will never sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes.

4. How We Contact You

By submitting a form on our website, you consent to being contacted by Mako Pool Solutions via phone call, text message (SMS), or email regarding your service inquiry. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP, and reply HELP to any message for assistance. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase.

We do not send unsolicited marketing emails or texts. Communications are limited to your service request, scheduling, and follow-up.

Mobile opt-in data and consent are never shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes. The full text messaging terms are set out in section 6 of our Terms of Service.

5. Information Sharing

We may share your information only with:

• Netlify: hosts this site and processes form submissions.
• LeadConnector: provides the chat widget and stores the conversations held in it, so that we can answer them.
• Legal requirements: if required by law, subpoena, or to protect our rights

Both are service providers acting on our behalf. We do not share your information with any other third parties.

6. Cookies & Tracking

We set no advertising, remarketing, analytics, or session-recording cookies. There is no tag on this site building a profile of you across the web.

On the pages that load it, the chat widget stores an identifier in your browser so that a conversation you start is still there if you move between those pages. That identifier is set by LeadConnector, not by us.

You can block cookies and site storage in your browser settings if you wish. Nothing on this site depends on them except the chat, which will not be able to carry a conversation between pages.

7. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information, including HTTPS encryption on all pages and secure form processing through Netlify. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
• Ask us to correct or update your information
• Request that we delete your information
• Opt out of text message communications by replying STOP

9. Children's Privacy

Our website is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of our website after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
